At CFTN School of Ministry, our students discover an environment of freedom, love, and grace. Religion demands conformity, but life in the Kingdom gives room to express ourselves the way God created us to be!

Q: Do I have to be a CFTN member to attend the school?

A: No. You do not need to be a member.  However, we encourage you to be plugged into your local church. It’s important to belong and worship with a community of believers

 

Q:  How much does CFTN SOM cost?

A:  $800 per semester (in person) and $900 (for hybrid (online/in-person). We have a fall and a spring semester.

 

Q: Is there an application fee?

A: The application fee is $50.  

 

Q: Are there scholarships or discounts available?

A: Unfortunately, there are currently no scholarship or discounted tuition available. 

 

Q:  Are payment plans available?

A:  There are two options available for payments:

1) Pay full amount at the beginning of the semester (August 1st and January 2nd). A 5% discount will apply to this option.

2) Pay monthly installments ($160 in-person) or ($180- Hybrid)

For those who are struggling with the above options, we will evaluate case by case for a potential monthly installment payment plan.  Email somadmin@cftn.com after you fill out your application for us to evaluate your situation.

 

Q:  Are there any expenses outside of tuition?

A:  Students are responsible to purchase any books that are required to be read throughout the school year.  We do not provide housing, so students are responsible for housing and personal expenses. 

 

Q:  Are international students allowed to attend?

A:  Students abroad are encouraged to sign-up for our online option. 

 

Q:  Is CFTN SOM accredited and does completion of the school transfer as college credits to any other school? 

A:  No, CFTN SOM is not an accredited school and completion is not transferable as credit to other colleges.  

 

Q:  How old do I have to be to attend CFTN SOM?

A:  There is no maximum age limit, but students must be at least 18 years of age to attend. 

 

Q:  Do you provide child-care for in-person students?

A:  No, we do not provide child-care.  

 

Q: What are the requirements to graduate CFTN School of Ministry?

A: Requirements are as follows:

  • Complete both fall and spring semesters (5 absences allowed per semester).
  • Complete all book reports (Students will be required to provide a short, typed response to books read throughout the semester).
  • Complete the volunteer requirements (During certain weeks throughout the semesters, SOM students who are CFTN members will be assigned to help in one service on a Sunday.  Non-CFTN members will be responsible to complete a certain amount of volunteer hours in a ministry at their local church or another ministry).

 

Q: If I’m enrolled in person, can I take online if I miss?

A: No. However, you can pay the online price and be an online student and attend in person when you are able too.

 

Q: Can I work while I attend CFTN SOM?

A: Yes. Classes are Monday & Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 9:00pm which allows students enrolled to continue to work full or part-time. 

 

Q: Can I bring a guest to class with me?

A: Throughout the semesters, we will have special guest weeks.  We encourage you to bring your guest on these weeks.  Outside of these weeks, depending on available space, we do occasional make exceptions for a guest visiting out of town.  

 

Q: If am an online student can a guest watch class with me?

A: Outside of the guest weeks, no. 

 

Q: What do I receive for completing CFTN SOM? 

A: Along with receiving solid Bible training and experiencing incredible transformation in the 10-month school year, students will receive a certificate of completion. This is more than a certificate. This shows a completion and dedication of your commitment to grow deeper with Christ and develop the leader within you. Certification will open the doors to potential leadership, ministry, and mission opportunities within CFTN.
